WEEKENDS
My weekends always come up short, seems like I always have more I need or want to do than there is time for. Here lately I find myself having to do some type of work on the weekends and not being able to just lay back and rest. One of these days I am going to take a weekend and do nothing but spend time with my family and maybe leave home. Also we get to keep our grandbaby this weekend for the first time in a long time, she is a precious little girl. When I see her and our other precious girl playing together it makes me feel good all over. They have times where they play real good together and times where they don't, but thats just being little kids. Well guess its time to go to work now, write more another time.

SCHOOL
Well to start with, I may be looking at this wrong but here goes, it is my opinion that our state government has gotten out of hand with the power of schools. I mean, to me if my kid needs spanking, either me or my wife will deal with it. The idea of a teacher or principle paddling one of my kids will not even come close to working. They are there to teach my kids about books, that is their job and to think they can treat our kids like there own is completely wrong. And just so its known, they better keep there paddles away from my kids or we will have major problems.

Penny

This morning changed our family. I was leaving to go to work when I saw Penny laying at the end of the driveway. She had gotten ran over. We were all sad, she was part of the family. She was Sandy's dog, now she is with her. She was 15 years old and we kept wondering how long she was going to survive. She has outlived a lot, including the big tornado that hit here in 2007 and some other crazy stuff. We will miss her so much! Breyna went and put 2 flowers on her grave.

One More Day
Today is my wife's birthday and she realized that this is her last year being in her twenties. It makes me think about when I went through that stage myself, it brings a lot of mixed emotions, some good and some bad. She is sick right now and I feel bad because it is her birthday and she doesn't deserve to be sick. She is a great wife. With getting a year older, we need to think about what we can do to make the next year better. Even though its her b-day instead of mine, I am thinking of ways to make her next year better. Some examples would be: to be more helpful around the house, tell her how beautiful she is more often, take more time with the kids, etc. Well you get the idea. I got lucky with finding a great wife and plan on keeping her for as long as she will have me. Well enough for now, write more soon.

MY WIFE'S B-DAY
Well, its been awhile since I wrote something so thought I would update a little. Tomorrow is my wife's b-day and it will not be one of her best birthdays, but she can know she is loved by me and our kids very much. My wife and kids have been in a wreck and were injured, but god has just about healed them all the way. We are without a car right now and that makes me feel like I am letting my family down, but with a little direction I will turn things around and get back on track. But to my wife, Happy Birthday Babydoll and I hope you enjoy your day this year. We will go out this weekend and let you turn loose some Babydoll, I LOVE YOU VERY MUCH.

Birthday Fun full of Tomatoes
This weekend marks 2 events: My son Kyle's 19th Birthday, and the eating of our homegrown tomatoes. Kyle is so excited, but that is just because he is now legal to go in the store and buy his own cigarettes. His friend Jamie came over and helped him celebrate.

Say Cheese Jamie!

Babydoll with her first tomatoes out of the first real garden she had. Man those tomato sandwiches were delicious.

Fun at Blue Lake
Today we went to Blue Lake in Andalusia. It was a great day of family time. I got to watch my wife and kids have fun swimming. The best part was getting to take pictures of the great smiles my wife and kids have. Blue Lake is a great place to take your family. They have all amenities. The swimming area is nice and semi-private, not too over-crowded.
